This course is designed specifically for law enforcement officers working on patrol or on a tactical team. It specializes in teaching officers how to treat themselves and medical care for other team members under fire.
A vast growth in police officer shootings have increased over the past few years, including active shooter situations increasing the demand for first aid treatment, a necessity for every officer to know.
This course will teach gun shot, sucking chest wound and tourniquet applications, including various techniques for downed officer rescue and extractions.

Classroom portion:
PowerPoint presentations on various extraction methods, different medical kits, essential first aid basics, CPR and gun shot casualty care including compression bandage application, Tourniquet application, dealing with sucking chest wounds
Live fire portion:
Medical care under fire and officer rescue and extractions
Force on Force portion:
Medical care under fire and officer rescue and extractions
